The first limit of our town was from 500 East to 300 West and 2100 South to the focal point of the Millcreek stream. Throughout the years the populace developed, organizations came, and schools were constructed.
In 1950 the populace was with the end goal that the Town turned into the City of South Salt Lake and announced a second rate class city by the region. This changed the type of government to a civic chairman and city chamber. During his organization, Marlow Callahan was the main city hall leader.
